These systems can feel intelligent because their outputs are flexible and fast, yet performance depends on training, design, context, and the quality of available information. Treat AI as a capable instrument with defined strengths and weaknesses. The practical question is not whether a tool is intelligent. Ask what task it performs, what evidence supports its output, and who remains responsible.
